Monday (3/23) Update: Crossroads

REFLECTION

But [Jesus] answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’ ” -- Matthew 4:4 (NASB95) 

Good morning! 

It was great “seeing” many of you at our live stream worship service yesterday. Please find links below if you missed it or the Sunday School lesson. We are planning to do both again this Sunday (3/29).

As you head into this week, I pray that you are eating healthy - especially in your spiritual diet. We do not live on bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Jesus leaned on the Scriptures in the midst of preparing for ministry and directly responding to the temptations of Satan. Jesus drew strength for the spiritual fight from spiritual muscles nourished by a healthy spiritual diet. 

You have battles and temptations coming. Are you preparing by eating well spiritually? If you need help, please let me or another elder know. We are available and willing to help you grow strong in the Lord.

Also, if you are having trouble eating well physically or have other material needs, please let me know or contact Deacon Lyle Sine or Deacon Devadatta Gorde. They are available and willing to help.
