Zack Groff Comes "Under Care" of Presbytery

By coming "under care" of the Philadelphia Metro West Presbytery of the PCA, Zack is formally beginning the process of becoming an ordained Teaching Elder in our denomination. Though his role at Crossroads may not change much in light of this formal recognition of his intent to pursue pulpit ministry, the Ruling and Teaching Elders of the Philadelphia Metro West Presbytery have formally committed to making themselves available to Zack as he serves Crossroads. Zack has also answered yes to the following two questions:

1. Do you promise in reliance upon the grace of God to maintain a becoming Christian character, and to be diligent and faithful in making full preparation for the sacred ministry?
2. Do you promise to submit yourself to the proper supervision of the Presbytery in matters that concern your preparation for the ministry?

Zack is preparing to begin his studies with Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary part-time by distance in the Fall.
